Genée Joubert MA, RBA (Ont), BCBA

(Clinical Director)

Beyond the Door (BTD) Clinical Director, Genée Joubert is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and founded Beyond the Door in 2005 after serving children on the Autism Spectrum since 2001. Genée received her HonBSC at the University of Toronto and a Masters Degree with specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Special Education. Genée continues to participate in workshops and conferences in Canada and the USA.

Waisnavy Perinparajah (Assistant Clinical Director)

Waisnavy Perinparajah has been working in the field of ABA since 2015. She has a BA in Health Science and Sociology and a Postgraduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Sciences. Waisnavy has experience working with children/teens/adults on the spectrum and understands the changing needs. She is totally dedicated to the clients/families she serves and is truly an asset to our Management TEAM.

ROBECCA MA (Program Manager)

Robecca Ma has worked in the field of ABA since 2013 and has experience working with many children aged 2 to 18 years old. She has an Honours BA in Psychology and Behavioural Sciences and is also a BCaBA candidate. Robecca is an asset to the BTD team through her passion, devotion and dedication in support of the families she serves.

Ilse Joubert (Admin director)

Ilse has been providing ABA/IBI services to children with neuro-developmental disorders including ASD since 2005. Ilse is a passionate advocate for the availability of effective services for all children with special needs.

MARIE LOPEZ (Program Manager)

Marie Lopez Correa had 10 years of volunteer work with children before deciding to pursue the field of ABA. She has a BA in Psychology and a post-graduate Behavioural Science diploma. Marie has been working at Beyond the Door for more 5 years. She is passionate and dedicated to the the children and families she is privileged to work with.

Kiara Pereira (Program Manager)

Kiara Pereira has an honours bachelor's of science with a double major in Psychology and Sociology. She has also completed her Master's of Education in Developmental Psychology and Education. Kiara has over 4 years of experience working with children and is dedicated to providing the best support for the children and families she works with.

Instructor Therapists

Our exceptional Instructor Therapists are valued members of the BTD TEAM! They hold an undergraduate Degree and/or Diploma in the Behavioural Sciences and have completed courses or attended workshops in Applied Behaviour Analysis, including Verbal Behaviour. They have experience working with children with neuro-developmental delays including ASD. Our professional Instructor Therapists are enthusiastic and dedicated to the children they teach and love what they do.
